Planning & Preparation
- Preparing the surface
- Make certain that the door curb as well as any seats or ledges are slightly sloped to the inside of the enclosure. By doing so, no water will stand or leak out of the shower area.
- Any adjacent doors, such as closet doors, should be considered, so as to not impede the operation of the shower door.
- Consider the direction of the shower head, when planning door placement. Direct spray to the door is not recommended.
- It is always a good idea to understand your own personal preferences first. What do you like about your shower enclosure now? What don’t you like?
